What to expect
Routine and soft-tissue surgery, done carefully and explained plainly.
We carry out routine and soft-tissue surgery on site, with a dedicated nurse for every anaesthetic. Orthopaedic and specialist cases are referred to a hospital we trust, and we handle the aftercare here. You get a written estimate beforehand and a phone call as soon as your pet is awake.
How it works
A pre-operative check the week before, a drop-off in the morning, a call after surgery and a discharge appointment where the nurse goes through the care at home. A free check-up follows a few days later.
Why it matters
Anaesthetic risk is low when patients are checked properly beforehand and watched properly throughout. That is what the nurse is there for.

Open Monday to Saturday
Mon–Fri 8am–7pm, Sat 9am–1pm. Out of hours, ring 01632 960 143 and a vet answers.
Ring 01632 960 143, at any hour. A vet answers, tells you whether to come in, and meets you at the door. If you can, ring before you set off so we are ready.
Fill in the form on the contact page, or ring us. We request your pet’s records from your previous practice and book a first consultation, usually within the week.
A standard consultation is $45 and lasts twenty minutes. Anything beyond that, such as tests or treatment, is estimated in writing before we go ahead.
Vaccinations, flea and worm treatment all year, two check-ups and 10 percent off most other things, for $19 a month. Puppy, kitten and senior versions cost a little less or more.
